What It Is

The Sundström SR 500 is a battery-powered fan unit for a Sundström PAPR system. When used with approved head tops and filters, it delivers filtered air through a hose to help reduce the ingress of surrounding pollutants. It is suited to work that is hard, warm, or of long duration and features a battery capacity indicator, symbol display, and automatic airflow control that compensates for air pressure and temperature. Electronics ingress protection is IP67 (IEC/EN 60529).
